Tonbridge Angels announced the signing of 29-year-old attacking wide man Ricky Korboa from Carshalton Athletic in mid-October.

Liverpool-born Ricky started his career at Carshalton Athletic, playing seven seasons and helping them get promoted back to the Isthmian Premier Division. Upon their return, Ricky was in great form contributing 25 goals across the two campaigns as well as a number of assists. In both seasons in the Premier Division, Carshalton reached the play-offs but fell at the semi-final stage in 2018-19. That was, of course, the year Angels got promoted to the National League South via the Super Play Off Final. 

Ricky’s performances at Carshalton, where he scored 64 goals in 198 appearances, earned him a move to League One Northampton Town. Stints at Sutton United, Woking and Livingston followed before moving back south joining Maidenhead United before returning to Carshalton in the summer.
