Matty joined from Lewes, where he was signed by Craig Nelson in the summer of 2024. As a combative and energetic midfielder, he became a key part of the Lewes squad, making 40 appearances, scoring five times, and earning both the Manager’s Player and Players’ Player of the Season awards in 2024/25.

Matt’s senior career started at Chipstead before moving on to Cray Valley PM. He made a real impact at Sittingbourne, where he won both the Players’ and Managers’ Player of the Year awards in the 2022/23 season. He began 2023/24 with Sevenoaks before joining Ramsgate in March 2024 for their, albeit unsuccessful, promotion push.
