1. Tonbridge Angels FC will enter into an agreement with the individual or club booking the 3G pitch at the Halcyon Wealth Longmead Stadium.
2. The details of the booking will be sent via email from the club’s online booking system provided by SportsKey.
3. Tonbridge Angels FC reserves the right to cancel any booking with 7 days’ notice in writing via email. If the booking is cancelled by Tonbridge Angels FC, any fees paid will be refunded.
4. If the hirer wishes to cancel a booking, they will be required to give 48 hours’ notice via the club’s booking system.
5. If the hirer defaults on scheduled payments for the pitch hire, Tonbridge Angels FC will be within their right to terminate the hire agreement with 7 days’ notice.
Conditions of Hire:
1. The hire relates solely to the usage of the artificial 3G pitch.
2. The club’s policy on the wearing of correct footwear when using the 3G pitch must be always observed when within the pitch fence perimeter. Any breach of this rule may result in the immediate termination of the booking agreement. See separate section for the footwear guide.
3. Only individuals associated with the participating football teams are permitted on the
playing surface and surrounding areas.
4. The pitch will be closed if the temperature falls below 0°C.
5. The use of the pitch will be suspended in the event of snow or frost.
6. For events and parties, all individuals using the pitch must wear the approved footwear.
Those not wearing the correct footwear will not be permitted on the pitch.
7. During December, January, and February, the pitch is not available until 10 AM.
8. The pitch hirer must bring their own footballs. Tonbridge Angels FC will provide the goals and pitch demarcation drop down white lines.
9. All footballs must be kept either on the pitch or on the run-off area, footballs are not permitted outside of the pitch perimeter.
10. Smoking is not permitted anywhere within the stadium, 3G pitch area or rooms hired. The hirer must ensure visitors attending activities anywhere in the ground or within the perimeter fence of the 3G pitch do not smoke. Any breach of this rule may result in the immediate termination of the booking contract. Any damage to the pitch caused because of smoking will be charged to the hirer.
11. The chewing of gum is not permitted within the stadium or when using the 3G pitch. Any damage to the pitch caused by discarded chewing gum will be charged to the hirer.
12. Dogs are not allowed anywhere in the stadium, 3G pitch area or within the rooms hired, although working dogs such as guide dogs are permitted.
13. Tonbridge Angels FC reserves the right to pass on the charges for damages or breakages caused by the hirer.
14. Any inappropriate or abusive behaviour towards each other or a member of staff will not be tolerated. The hirer shall be responsible for damage caused by unruly or inappropriate behaviour.
15. All hirers are responsible for reading the fire policy and ensuring all visitors are aware of evacuation procedures. Fire and other exits must be always kept clear. Hirers must report any health and safety issues or concerns to a member of Tonbridge Angels FC staff.
16. The hirer shall, at the end of the hire period, leave the facilities in a tidy condition, all equipment and furniture being returned to the correct place of storage.
17. Furniture and apparatus required may be brought onto the premises at the Hirer’s own risk. Any electrical equipment, owned and used by the Hirer within the premises must be PAT (Portable
Appliance Test) certified.
18. All statutory requirements, including those relating to health and safety and public entertainments, must be strictly fulfilled by the hirer.
19. The hirer may not sub-let the hire of the venue. The name of the applicant on the hire form must be the same as the group who use the facility.
20. The hirer is responsible for its own public liability and personal accident insurance for the purposes of this agreement.
21. The hirer is responsible for the safeguarding and safe keeping of all items belonging to the hirer, its guests or third parties engaged by it. Tonbridge Angels FC accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to such items.
22. Use of the premises is limited to the facilities hired.
23. Stadium assistants and staff enforce these regulations. Any verbal or physical abuse of staff
will not be tolerated, and offenders will be required to leave. Should the person involved
refuse to leave the stadium, the event will be halted until such time as the person has left.
