After 20 years, it is a welcome back to JJ, who was the Angels goalkeeper in the 2005/06 campaign in which he made 43 appearances and made a lasting impression in Angels’ fans of that time. His playing career was largely spent in non-league with Kingstonian, Enfield and Fisher Athletic before moving to Tonbridge, then under the management of Tony Dolby. As a goalkeeping coach he was with West Ham United’s Academy before having a spell as First Team GK Coach. Since his departure from the Hammers he has had spells at Southend United and Wycombe Wanderers.
